PROGRAM:  COST OF QUALITY -getting your CEO's attention.  Cost of Quality (COQ) can be defined as reducing the total cost of errors.  COQ  and its evolution as a quality practice is a powerful and invaluable measurement tool.  Its purpose is to assist in reducing variation and to provide a means to measure the overall effectiveness and performance of an organization's quality process, thus increasing profitability.

This presentation will focus on the value of using the Cost of Quality as a measuring tool and offer tips on how to get your organization and its corporate executives to understand the benefits of Cost of Quality. We will discuss what will grab your CEO's attention. Research shows that the costs of poor quality can consume 15%-40% of a business' costs, but most businesses do not know their quality costs. Do you?
