Richard K. Vesely, founding principal of Integrated Quality Systems, Inc. has more than 25 years of broad based experience in manufacturing and service organizations, spanning both operations management and human resources. He rose to the position of senior vice-president of a large international corporation (Tamrock Ltd, Helsinki, Finland), before starting his own consulting firm. He has provided effective leadership in both union and non-unionized environments. Rich is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), as a RAB certified ISO9000-1994 and 2000 lead auditor and QS methodology. He was invited to become a National Assessor for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award (1999,2000,2001 and 2002) and the State of Tennessee Quality Award (2000, 2001 and 2002), both internationally accepted as the standards for management excellence in their category. He has served as a guest lecturer at Clarion University, Clarion Pennsylvania and Penn State University, Fayette and New Kensington Campuses. He is the ASQ Baldrige Chair for the Pittsburgh Chapter and also sits on the board of directors for the Tri-County WIB, and Alle-Kiski Leadership. Rich is the author of several published articles.
